Our group tour tells the story of Patrick Henry and colonial Virginia, while the Liberty or Death reenactment shows the story in real life.

Our costumed tour guide leads a discussion of the events in Virginia that led to the American Revolution and the vigorous debates of the Second Virginia Convention, during which Patrick Henry delivered his famous “Give me liberty or give me death!” speech. Patrick Henry’s life and political career are also covered.
The Group Rate (20+ persons) is $6 per adult and $5 per student, payable on the day of your visit.
Length of time is about 30 minutes.
Liberty or death reenactment
Professional actors in 1770s attire portray nine delegates, including such prominent Virginians as Richard Henry Lee, Benjamin Harrison, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. Your students will witness the democratic process at work through the animated reenactment of the Second Virginia Convention, which culminates in Patrick Henry’s “Give me liberty or give me death!” speech.
The cost is $800, due 30 days before the performance. A $100 deposit holds the date.
Length of time is about one hour.
